ABOUT OUR DRINKS

Coffee is culinary. This is our core understanding, and it informs everything we do behind that La Marzocco espresso machine.  Our staff operates off this assumption as well; we train it into our fantastic baristas. When we say we serve global coffee, that sourcing depends on regions and seasonable coffee harvests — timing is everything if we hope to deliver truly unexpected brews.  Check out our drink flow-chart below.  We are visual learners and we like diagrams!

Our version of a cold brew, Slo Bru is a Japanese-style cup that usually takes between 16-20hrs. The process leads to a lighter, extremely smooth, and highly caffeinated cup of coffee.

2

Our Chemex is a pour over method that produces a bright cup of coffee with low acidity. The hourglass shape allows for blooming and nuanced notes of the bean.

Brewed in our Chemex, this pour over substitutes a metal filter in place of paper. This method allows for more oils to filter through resulting in a dark, bold cup that is similar to French Press.

We use a top-of-the-line La Marzocco espresso machine to craft each latte, cortado, and cappuccino. We give painstaking attention to detail in how we grind, tamp, and hand-texture the milk, making each cup a unique work of art and labor of love.
